On Thursday 17 March we hosted a launch event for our exciting new campaign, Dads4Daughters. It was lovely to see the Great Hall full of fathers and daughters from the top three years engaged in the crucial issue of enhancing gender equality in the workplace. The evening began with a panel discussion (that comprised two father and two OPs) and questions from the floor. We then shared the results of a survey we have conducted of OPs between the ages of 25 and 35 in a game show format. The results were illuminating: 73% had encountered gender inequality in the workplace, 66% claimed to have attempted to change this culture and 87% felt that men should do more to achieve this. The evening ended with fathers sharing their experiences and examples of good practice. Ms Farr wrapped up proceedings by urging all fathers to go into the workplace the next day and inculcate change.
