On 28 January, our school cross-country runners took part in the London Schools’ Cross-Country Championships held at a bitterly cold and windy Parliament Hill with plenty of mud on the course and hail showers in between and before races! Charlotte Buckley (UIV) was placed 4th out of 190 junior A runners, leading her team to 8th out of 28 teams. Freja Schaap (MIV) placed 6th out of 129 runners in the junior B race. In the intermediate race for V students, Olivia Olsher and Alice Harray were placed 10th and 11th respectively out of 97 and led their teams to bronze medals placing 3rd out of 15 teams with the help of Tara Kelly, Lucy Taylor, Clara Ruddle and Laura Harray. In the senior race, Eve Goodhart (VII) placed 5th out of 19. Well done to all athletes!
