Nine of our competitors in the Mathematical Olympiad for Girls scored in the top 25 per cent nationally out of 1,500 participants, and were awarded a distinction. These include Iman Awan (VI), Poppy Boyd-Taylor (VII), Ella de Csillery (VI), Alice Harray (VI), Lucy Hart (VIII), Thea Krumins (VI), Charlotte Moberly (VI) and Francesca Wilkinson (VII). Particular congratulations go to Jackie Li (VIII), one of only seven competitors to score full marks on the challenge. She has now been invited to participate in the British Mathematical Olympiad, and has made the first step to being invited to compete in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.
