Mock Leaders Debate

After weeks of anticipation stoked by hilariously pun-filled emails, six Paulinas gathered in the Great Hall yesterday to represent Britain’s major political parties in advance of our school mock election and air their political beef. Paulinas hit the question suggestion board quicker than a Labour MP’s resignation from Corbyn’s shadow cabinet, and these served as a springboard for debate. The candidates, draped in Union Jacks and tartan kilts, all certainly looked the part, and their enthusiasm in dress was certainly matched by the liveliness of the debate; each candidate scrambled to make jibes at their opponents and vigorously sell their party platform to the constituents.
