St Paul’s in Russia

January 29, 2018

The recent trip to Russia over the Christmas holiday was a fantastic experience for everyone, whether studying the language or not.  Aarti in the VIII commented that ‘spending a week in two of the most extraordinarily rich cities allowed us to immerse ourselves in Russian culture and learn about the country’s history’. They visited the homes of the famous authors Chekhov and Pushkin, as well as the country’s largest museum, the Hermitage. The thick snow really boosted the Christmas spirit, especially when they visited the Catherine Palace outside St Petersburg.
