Entry to SPGS

We are delighted that you are considering St Paul’s Girls’ School [...] While all our students share a love of learning and a keen academic curiosity, there is no typical Paulina. Sarah Fletcher, High Mistress

Choosing the right school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions you will make. These are her most formative years; a period in her life when she will acquire greater self-awareness with a richer understanding of the world around her and of its challenges and opportunities. The experience will help to shape her ideas, her sense of identity and her ability to navigate the world with confidence. It will influence the way she relates to others, and the direction she will travel in later life. It will also offer her an enormous source of inspiration, fun and adventure. As a family, you need to be sure that the school provides the right opportunities for you and that our ethos chimes with your own aspirations.

While all our students share a love of learning and a keen academic curiosity, there is no typical Paulina. Every year, students join us from a range of primary and prep schools. We value the diversity of our student body and welcome applications from students with SEND. We offer a generous and wide-reaching means-tested bursary scheme for those families who would not otherwise be able to afford the fees and you can find full details of this on the Bursaries page.

As a first step, we would encourage you to attend an Open Day, so that you can see and feel the school for yourself.

The following pages in this section explain the process and timings for registration and application, but if you need any more details, please do not hesitate to contact Admissions, either by phone, 0207 603 2288, or by email, admissions@spgs.org.
