For entry to Year 9 (13+) in September 2017
We have limited number of spaces available in this year group for entry in September and will therefore be holding an entrance examination day at St Paul’s on Monday 20 February 2017.
Parents will need to complete and return the registration forms to the Admissions Office together with a copy of their daughter’s birth certificate and a copy of her end of Year 7 school report. The application deadline for all paperwork is Friday 3 February 2017.
Selected candidates will be asked to submit the examination entry form and a cheque for £125 (payable to ‘St Paul’s Girls’ School’) to cover the registration fee. They will then be invited to sit two papers in English and Mathematics, and to prepare, candidates should revise their current course of study. Please be aware that we will write at this time to each candidate’s current school to request a confidential report.
Girls will be shortlisted based on the results of these examinations and invited back to St Paul’s for interview in early March. Girls should expect to have interviews in science and a modern foreign language together with a general interview. Final decisions will be sent out to parents on Friday 17 March 2017.
Scholarships and bursaries
There are music scholarships available at 13+ entry and applications should be returned to the Admissions Office by Friday 3 February 2017. We unfortunately do not have scholarships available at 12+ or 14+ entry, however, awards are available for internal and external candidates in art, music and drama for girls entering the senior school at age 16.
We do not normally have any bursary places available at 12+, 13+ or 14+ entry.
