Temporary Teacher of Religion and Philosophy

(1 term appointment)

 Required from September 2017

We are looking for an outstanding full time Teacher of Religion and Philosophy to undertake a one term assignment from September 2017.  The appointee will cover the teaching timetable, though not the management remit, of the current head of department during maternity leave.  The role will require someone able to teach across the age range from years 7 to 13, engage in tutor responsibilities and participate in our varied programme of co-curricular activities.

This is an opportunity to join a talented team and be involved in a curriculum that is dynamic and varied, offering academic rigour for bright and enthusiastic students.  Applicants will have an enthusiasm for their subject, possess excellent organisational skills and be committed to inspiring students to achieve their best.  A good degree in Theology and/or Philosophy is desirable.
