Over half term 14 Paulinas flew to Barcelona for a week of sight-seeing and language teaching. Holly, VI, describes the trip:
As soon as we arrived we met our exchanges from Colegio Santa Teresa de Ganduxer. After a quick tour of our beautiful partner school, built by Gaudí, we met our exchanges and were immediately immersed into Spanish life for the weekend, which included activities with our host families and a visit to the beach for some of us. During school days, we went on excursions to see the sights of Barcelona, including the famous Sagrada Familia, a highlight for many of us. A guide took us around and explained the symbolism of each façade while we marvelled at the colourful interior. We all had an amazing time, experiencing the Spanish way of life, culture and, best of all, the food. We look forward to hosting our new friends in London later this term.
