CanSat Assembly

CanSat Assembly

VIII students Jess and Vitti recently gave an assembly on their CanSat engineering project, for which they built an autonomous rover.

Hear from VIII students Jess and Vitti, who recently gave an assembly on their CanSat engineering project, for which they built an autonomous rover:

We worked on this project between September 2019 and April 2020 for the European CanSat 2019-2020 competition as a team of 4, comprising of Jess, Vitti, Leela and Sankavi. Unfortunately, due to year group bubbles, Leela and Sankavi, VI, could not be with us on the day. During our assembly, we presented the process behind completing the project, the hurdles and how we overcame them, and what we learnt from this project. We discovered so much about programming, how new components work and fit together, radio transmission, GPS and much more, and hope to inspire younger girls to pursue their interests in STEM.
