During a recent Chinese lesson, students watched Mrs Shao perform a tea ceremony and tried some of the tea themselves. The girls had recently learned about different types of tea and the traditional methods of serving the beverage in China. The class reported afterwards that they thoroughly enjoyed drinking a variety of teas such as green tea and chrysanthemum tea, but most of them liked the rose tea the best. The tea set with which Mrs Shao performed the ceremony was itself an interesting part of the lesson since it was so intricately decorated. The girls assured Mrs Shao it was a lesson they would not soon forget.
