Duke of Edinburgh Gold Expedition

April 22, 2015

Over Easter, 19 Paulinas in the VII set off to Wales to complete their gold practice expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Despite the cold, wind and rain, the girls managed to maintain high spirits during their three days of walking, aided by the beautiful scenery and an abundance of lambs. Afterwards they reported that the trip was a rewarding, character-building experience, and that they now feel much more prepared to take on the rigours of their actual expedition in July.
