Yonca Brunini Visits St Paul’s

March 23, 2015

For the last Friday lecture of the year, and the last ever for the VIII, girls in the Senior School were lucky enough to welcome Yonca Brunini, a Vice President of marketing at Google. She spoke about the importance of taking risks and considering the type of people with whom you will work when making career choices, and she also touched on the importance of having enough passion to inspire you to work hard at whatever you do. However, even more interesting was her advice to girls about being a working woman. She discussed the tendency of women, herself included, to attribute their achievements to luck rather than their hard work, warning Paulinas to be aware of this in themselves.
