On the final day before half term the school community celebrated Colet Day, in collaboration with St Paul’s School. With our traditional celebration at St Paul’s Cathedral not possible under current Covid-19 restrictions, each year group enjoyed instead a service in the Sports Hall featuring a mixture of live and recorded items and a sermon delivered by Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin. In order to make this year’s Colet Day celebrations feel as special as possible, the Head Girl Team and the Charities Committee teamed up to organise a ‘dress up like you would if you were actually going to the Cathedral’ day, giving students an opportunity to don their formal clothes while raising money for the school’s bursary fund. Following the service, the VIII were treated to ice-cream and popcorn so they could enjoy their final Colet Day in style!
