Munich Exchange

January 5, 2015

During the Christmas holidays, VII Germanists spent a week in Munich as a part of an exchange with the Otto Von Taube Gymnasium. In addition to spending the weekend with their welcoming host families, the St Paul’s girls toured Munich as a group, visiting many notable places, including the Marienplatz Christmas market, the National Opera, and the university in which the famous White Rose resistance group was based. They even had the opportunity to take a trip to Salzburg, where they visited Mozart’s house. They all thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Munich, not only because it improved their German, but also because it gave them a unique view of Christmas in a different culture.
