‘New Views’ Trip to Behind the Beautiful Forevers

As part of the National Theatre’s ‘New Views’ playwriting programme, a group of St Paul’s girls recently watched Rufus Norris’ production of Behind the Beautiful Forevers at the National Theatre, adapted by David Hare from the award-winning non-fiction book by Katherine Boo. The colourful production explores corruption and ambition in the lives of the inhabitants of a Mumbai slum, home to the garbage pickers.
