New York Exhibition Project

February 5, 2015

Following a trip to New York in October, senior art students were challenged to produce art work inspired by what they saw using photos and footage from the trip. Some chose to depict the city’s iconic architecture; others captured its character through landscape and people’s relationship to it. The contrast and variety within the work is emblematic of the city itself, as the exhibit is an evocative and eclectic exploration of shape, light, perspective and colour that captures the many faces of New York City.
