At the end of July 2014, St Paul’s Girls’ School ran a successful summer school for Year 4 pupils from local state primary schools. Under the Gifted and Talented Scheme, each school sent two of their pupils for a week of extended learning in a number of different subjects. This term, St Paul’s was able to welcome these girls back, now in Year 5, for another outreach day. While the girls were busy with science, linguistics, drama, sports and maths sessions, their parents had the opportunity to meet staff over tea and cake in the Old Library and ask questions about the school. Staff look forward to welcoming 60 children to the second summer school at St Paul’s this July.
