Philosophy Society were delighted to host philosopher Richard Holton of Peterhouse College, Cambridge for a virtual talk on Moral Psychology. Here Sarah, VII, summarises the event:
It was fascinating to hear Professor Holton speak about Moral Psychology, the study of the relations between our moral considerations and our actions. Moral Psychology is not covered in our curriculum, but ethics features heavily, so it was a great opportunity to explore an interesting dimension of ethics. We were also excited to welcome 25 students from four other schools, West London Free School, Hammersmith Academy, St Paul’s School and Jewish Free School, which made it Philosophy Society’s first webinar with our partner schools!
