Shakespeare’s Henry V

December 18, 2015

Recently three members of the VII – Apolline Bokkerink, Florence Grieve and Erika Price – joined the boys’ school performance of Henry V. The audience witnessed the play’s serious and tumultuous plot being brought to life by the many engaging, and often humorous moments that occurred throughout. The cast brilliantly enacted this complicated play, taking Shakespearean language and variety of regional British accents in their stride. A particular highlight was an eloquent scene involving Apolline and Erika’s use of the French language in a fast paced dialogue, aiding a wonderfully stimulating performance.
