St Paul’s in Siena

April 20, 2015

Around a dozen girls in the LV spent the final week of the Easter holidays on a language and culture trip to the medieval Italian city of Siena. They improved their Italian by attending an intensive Italian course every morning. In the afternoons, students visited various well-known (and often breath-taking) sites, such as the medieval square Piazza del Campo, the Siena Cathedral (with spectacular views) and the towers of San Gimignano. Not only did girls explore the beautiful city, but they also ate authentic and delicious Italian food, such as pizza, pici and of course, a wide variety of gelati!
