The St Paul’s junior lacrosse teams were in action over the weekend at the U12 and U13 lacrosse county finals. The U12Bs had a tightly contested tournament, starting with one win and one loss in their first two games. Unfortunately a tightly fought match resulted in a draw, which saw North London take the championships. The U13Bs also had some tight games, seeing them place 3rd overall. The U12As drew their first game of the day to LEH 3-3. They continued the day with three wins against St Helen’s (5-0), St James (5-0), and North London Collegiate School (3-1). Unfortunately the title was decided on goal difference which placed the girls 2nd overall, narrowly missing out on the title. The U13A team had a fantastic tournament winning all of their matches, beating LEH 5-1, St James 5-0, St Helen’s 6-0 and North London Collegiate School 4-0, seeing the team retain their county title from last year. Most Valuable Players of the tournament were awarded to: Lydia Free (U13A), Emilia Murray (U13B), Honor Edwards (U12A) and Sabina Kyprios (U12B).
