The St Paul’s Girls’ School Boat Club arrived bright and early at Dorney Lake to compete at Wallingford Regatta. The J16 eight finished their qualifying heat in 1st place by 18 seconds, proceeding to the final where they finished a close 2nd, 5 seconds from 1st place. The J16 four raced their way to 3rd place in their heat, narrowly missing out on the final. The J18 four finished an impressive 6th in their respective category with a time of 8.18.24. In the afternoon, the J16 four first boat came 4th in their category, just missing out on the final. The J15s put out two quadruple sculls with the A boat making it into the final, where they came a fantastic 6th. Overall it was a very rewarding day for the rowing teams, and the Paulina rowers hope to return from the upcoming National Schools Regatta with similar success.
