St Paul’s at the Battlefields

On Saturday 28 March, 48 Paulinas boarded a coach expecting hot French sun at the end of their journey but were instead met with 16 mph winds and driving rain. However, girls report that the terrible weather made it easier to envisage the horrific conditions that the soldiers faced a century ago as they wandered about the vast graveyards, walked along the preserved trenches and read the thousands of names of the men who gave their lives for freedom.
