Dresden Exchange

April 24, 2015

Paulines and Paulinas combined this Easter to descend on Luisenstift, Radebeul in Dresden for the second leg of the V German exchange. Once they had overcome the trauma of the daily 7.30am starts, they were treated to a dizzying round of history, art and car manufacture as well as the less-enticingly-named ‘Hygiene-Museum’ (actually an encyclopaedic museum of the human body) and ‘Maths Land’ (in fact full of hands-on experiments and puzzles that kept everyone entertained). The group also hiked up the peaks of Saxon Switzerland and through the ‘eye of the needle’ (the Nadelöhr). Students spent the weekend improving their German with host families whilst the teachers jetted off to Prague.
