During the last week of July, we welcomed another lively cohort of Year 4 children to our Summer School. This has now become a cherished annual event in the St Paul’s calendar, and we were again charmed by the young students’ energy and enthusiasm for learning. This year, the activities included an introduction to anthropology, linguistics, philosophy, a new session on mythology, brain-teasing workshops from the Happy Puzzle Company, and an afternoon of IT with the Turing Lab team from our Coding Club. The week was rounded off by the PE department again with (literally) fun and games. Our Paulina helpers (many of them returning for a second time) gave warm-hearted and level-headed support, clearly enjoying the experience. We are grateful to Hadron Capital for providing us with the means to fund this valuable outreach activity.
