The UIV and a host of teachers made their way out to Bentley Copse on Saturday 6 June for the annual St Paul’s camping trip. Blessed with beautiful weather, students enjoyed a fun day of swimming, sport, go-cart racing and outdoor exploration. Girls learned how to make dinner over trangia stoves, and it is safe to say that the cooking was a success. The highlight of the meal though was, of course, the marshmallows roasted round the campfire afterward. Tired from some energetic singing round the campfire and a day in the fresh air, girls retired to their tents and slept… or talked until the wee hours of the morning!
