Eva, V, describes one of the music department’s most popular recent events:
On Monday, the V had the wonderful privilege to perform in our own socially distanced Music Tea. We performed a wide repertoire of pieces by composers such as Hasselmans, Rachmaninov, Mendelssohn and Dizi. We were fortunate to hear two contrasting choirs and chamber groups, as well as a selection of solos including violin, harp, and voice solos. It was a truly moving and inspiring experience for all who were involved, as for many of us it was our first live performance since lockdown. Thank you to the music department and all our music teachers for arranging and preparing us for this memorable evening. You succeeded in lifting our spirits in these trying times. Thank you to our fellow peers for watching the concert live and to all who were able to watch it on Zoom.
