VI Arts Day

January 29, 2016

As the stress of post-Christmas exams ended last week with the final VI mock, the entire year was treated to a celebratory off-curriculum day on Wednesday to seek some cultural relief from the usual textbooks. The day involved an exploration around the V&A, which engaged both the more thespian crowd with the theatre costume gallery and the perhaps slightly more unusual shoe fanatics with the ‘Pleasure and Pain’ exhibit. We regrouped in the West End for either a truly magnificent performance of Matilda or The Lion King. The whole day was thoroughly relaxing and allowed us to reboot, ready for the rest of term.
