Volunteering Overseas at Orion

September 4, 2016

This summer a mixed group of Paulinas, Bedalians and a Pauline headed to the Russian countryside to live for ten days in Orion, a children’s community that fosters orphaned children in order to give them a better quality of life. On the penultimate day of our trip, they departed for Moscow, ending their volunteering experience underneath the Kremlin and walking across the Red Square. One participant comment that the trip was ‘an eye-opening insight into different lifestyles, and we were humbled by the gratitude and selflessness of Orion’s residents’.
