Women For Trump

October 3, 2017

A cast of five girls from the V to the VII performed a Paulina-penned original play, Women for Trump. Written from interviews conducted from July to December 2016 in different locations across America (including New York, Washington DC, and the rural town of Leesburg, Virginia), the play aimed to present and explore a range of viewpoints on potentially the most divisive political candidate in recent history, whilst also incorporating broader themes of the role of gender in modern American society. Women for Trump explored in depth why a man so frequently accused of demeaning and insulting women received 42% of female votes.
