Wreath – Fide et Literis Campaign

Alumnae and parents will be familiar with the wreath cast in the wrought-iron staircase on the Marble which is the school’s emblem. Paulinas are using digital technology to design a 3D version of the wreath, 1.1m in diameter, which will be cast at a bronze foundry. Each of the 80 leaves can be named in support of an endowment for a Hammersmith & Fulham girl who needs financial assistance. An artist’s impression of the wreath is pictured in situ behind the Great Hall.

Each leaf can be engraved with 40 characters and a donation of £1,000 will name a leaf in this exciting new artwork. Please go to www.spgs.org/support-us to name a leaf and email development@spgs.org to confirm the 40 characters you would like to appear on your leaf.

If you are a UK taxpayer you can also Gift Aid your donation by completing and emailing the online Gift Aid declaration to development@spgs.org.

There is also the opportunity to sponsor the creation and casting of the wreath. For further information please contact Rosemary Torrington (rosemary.torrington@spgs.org).

We have chosen to adopt the school motto, Fide et Literis, as the name for the campaign. The wreath, which reflects the school’s architecture and focus on good quality materials and design, will be a permanent fixture in the school as well as investing in girls’ artistic and digital design skills and building a permanent endowment for a local bursary girl.
