We are seeking to appoint an Accountant to take up post as soon as possible following the retirement of the current postholder.

The Accountant reports to the Bursar on the school’s pension schemes, payroll and its investments. Additionally, the Accountant provides the Foundation Director management and statutory information relating to the school’s fundraising activities and financial administration of SPGS International.

The successful candidate will need to be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) and have demonstrable leadership, flexibility and tact and enjoy working as part of a team with all members of the School community.

This role benefits from 5 weeks paid holiday in addition to the normal public holidays (currently 8 days). An additional period of holiday over the Christmas/New Year period will usually be available on an ex-gratia basis, and a contributory pension scheme; all staff enjoy excellent free lunches daily and have access to the school pool and gym facilities.
