St Paul’s Girls’ School is looking to appoint a Maintenance Operative Specialist to join the Estates team. The Estates team is responsible for all infrastructure and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
The estate comprises the main school site, swimming pool, sports site, and residential properties. The maintenance team is currently made up of the Maintenance Manager and four other maintenance staff, some of whom have a specialist trade while some provide general maintenance support. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance operative for the school. The environment is a busy one, with lots of variety and plenty of opportunity to develop your skills. You would need to have a willingness to learn; the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; a flexible approach to work and working hours and to have a good mix of general repair / maintenance work experience. The maintenance team also works closely with the grounds team and with caretakers.
