A sack of potatoes

Can you guess the teacher?

Here are ten questions answered by a teacher from St Paul's Girls' School! Can you guess who it is?

What was your childhood nickname?

My grandparents called me ‘Spud’ when I was very little. Maybe they thought I looked like a potato.

What’s the first thing you eat/drink in the morning?

I try to delay the first cup of coffee of the day – so, just a glass of water.

How would you describe yourself, using three words?

Extremely proficient BBQ-er.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever been given?

That I am the same personality type as Caesar Augustus. At least, it might have been a compliment, I can’t be sure…

Currently, I am attempting to learn Italian.

What film/book/play/musical could you watch/read repeatedly without getting bored of it?

Catch-22 is a book that I’ve read multiple times, and I’ve probably watched Withnail & I more times than any other film. So, I’ll go with those because I haven’t got bored of them yet.

Where in school would you most likely be during breaks/lunchtimes?

I was recently asked by a student, “Why are you always walking around the school?” So, I suppose that I would be doing that…  walking around the school!

What job did you want to have when you were a child?

I honestly have no recollection of thinking about careers until I was about 20 years old. It was a simpler time!

What month is your birthday?

April.

What would you title your autobiography?

Alea iacta est.
