SPGS has established itself as a leader in partnerships, and our dedication to meaningful collaboration is at the heart of how we approach each project. Our secondary programme aims to support and expand on initiatives delivered to our primary schools. Through open, in-depth conversations with headteachers and senior leaders in our secondary partner schools. We work in collaboration to develop initiatives that not only directly address challenges faced, but additionally, break down barriers, close educational gaps and support aspiration, engagement and enrichment for all our students. Our consistent communication with our partner schools allow us to build trust, foster genuine connections, and inspire collaboration across our local community.
SPGS students benefit in a range of ways from their involvement with partnership projects. It allows them to access broader educational opportunities and experiences, exposing them to diverse subjects, cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds. By participating, our students develop essential skills that prepare them to thrive in the future; including the art of communication, empathy, resilience and global citizenship.
Partnerships are a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering social cohesion and community engagement. By breaking down barriers and challenging stereotypes, we create opportunities for mutual understanding and respect. When partnership work is approached through co-design and shared implementation, it benefits everyone involved.
At SPGS, our partnership projects are grouped into four key categories:
Our goal is to help bridge socio-economic divides, foster diversity, and equip students, from both SPGS and our partner schools, with the skills they need to excel in the modern world.
We are committed to bridging the gap and want to inspire a greater love of learning for all.
Partnership projects provide our students with broader educational opportunities and experiences, exposing them to diverse subjects, cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds. By participating, our students develop invaluable skills that will prepare them to thrive in the future such as communication, empathy, resilience and global citizenship.
Our partnerships also benefit staff at SPGS and within our partner schools. Through shared professional development, mentoring, curriculum design and delivery and networking opportunities, we work together to improve the quality of teaching and learning across the community.
