UIV trip to Walton Firs
Adventure, teamwork and plenty of laughter were the order of the day as the UIV (Year 8) students headed to Walton Firs activity campsite for an unforgettable overnight trip.Despite arriving after a day of heavy rain, spirits remained high as students eagerly threw themselves into a packed programme of activities, including basketball on trampolines and the ‘leap of faith’, with every challenge encouraging teamwork, resilience and plenty of fun along the way. After a hearty dinner, the evening concluded with a traditional campfire, where students toasted marshmallows and enjoyed a lively singalong together under the stars. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence, strengthen friendships and step outside their comfort zones, creating memories that will last long after the final marshmallow had been toasted.
