Sports Day

On Tuesday 6 July, Sports Day was like no other. Dodging showers, bathing in brilliant sunshine, and repeat. There were sprint finishes, and solo races, big personal bests and plenty of smiling faces. Our Disney theme was in full force with fantastic fancy dress and MIV karaoke continuing throughout the day. There was a lovely selection of stalls – lemonade, commission a poem, blue food and water bottles – hard-working MIV students managed to raise £130.25 for charity.

All in all, a brilliant end to the year and testimony to the resourcefulness, wit and warmth of the school. After some consistently brilliant performances, Mulan were crowned our 2021 Sports Day Champions. A huge well done to all students competing in all running races, hurdles, shot put, discus, long jump, high jump and replay races. Congratulations for participating in what will be remembered as an unforgettable Sports Day.
