Equestrian trip to Yorkshire

Equestrian trip to Yorkshire

In the first week of half-term, eight of us (plus Miss Freemantle and Miss Arblaster) took the train to Yorkshire to spend four days doing fun horse riding activities.

We stayed at a hostel very near the riding school we would be going to in Wharfedale. During these four days we went out on lovely hacks through the hills, practised our horse riding skills in the arena, groomed, tacked up and bonded with our horses. We even spent mornings and evenings improving our cooking skills and everyone had a go (along with the help of Miss Freemantle of course). After going out for the day we would have time to chat and hang out with each other, playing a variety of different games, of which some got very competitive at times! It was so nice to be on a school trip again after such a long time of not being able to!
