Following on from a successful pilot with girls in the Upper School in the summer term, an exploration of AI and machine learning in Python ran over eight sessions in the second half of the summer holiday. The AI Core, a group of Imperial alumni, created a journey into artificial intelligence and machine learning programming that bridges the gap between school and University programming. Nearly 20 young people took part, and a number of bursaries were available. It was enjoyed by all, and discussion continues on some of the ideas and techniques explored.
