Longitude Explore Prize winners

Huge congratulations to Olympia, Meghan, Radhika and Vivien (VI) for winning the Longitude Explore Prize run by Amazon and Nesta Challenges. The team came up with the idea for the real-time translator after they were inspired by the experience of a friend who is deaf. The students designed, developed and coded an app that can interpret British Sign Language (BSL) and translate it into spoken English as well as translate spoken English into BSL videos. Their app, called BSL: Educate-2-Translate, aims to teach BSL, with feedback to video footage of the user practising.
