Strings on the Green
Revisit your music memories at SPGS! Hilary Sturt and her team will be running a day of music-making for alumnae bowed string players. Celebrate friendships through music in our beautiful Singing Hall, enjoy lunch and a drinks reception to close the day at 5:00pm. Hiilary is leaving St Paul’s this year, so this is your opportunity to say goodbye.
The main activity will be a String Orchestra, playing well-loved and not so well-known pieces, with options for chamber music and technique clinics. Your tutors will come from a selection of our Visiting Music Teachers over the past 25 years. Technique classes with specialist tutors are optional if you wish to have some guidance on aspects of playing that may be a little rusty.
