Legacies

For those who valued their time at St Paul’s, a legacy is a way of giving something back as well as providing opportunities for the next generation of Paulinas. We welcome your help in all areas of development, including bursaries, the endowment, buildings or an unrestricted bequest. If you have a particular interest we would be delighted to discuss this with you. Please speak to Julia Mallis, Foundation Director (+44 20 7605 4814).

A reduced rate of Inheritance Tax applies where 10% or more of a deceased’s net estate (after deducting IHT exemptions, reliefs and the nil-rate band) is left to charity. In those cases the current 40% rate will be reduced to 36%.

If you would like to remember us in your will, we recommend that you consult a solicitor. The official name of the school is St Paul’s Girls’ School and it is a registered charity (charity registration number 1119613).

Gifts from the US

We have partnered with the Chapel & York US Foundation (a 501(c)3 non-profit) to accept donations for our benefit through the link below.

All levels of single and regular donations are greatly appreciated.

We can also accept donations from CAF America.

Enhancing your gift

Gift Aid

St Paul’s Girls’ School is a registered charity which allows us to accept tax efficient gifts. Our registered charity number is 1119613. UK taxpayers can donate under the Gift Aid scheme which means that donations are treated as being made net of basic rate tax which the school can reclaim from HMRC, increasing the value of the cash donation by 25%. Higher rate taxpayers at 40% and 45% can reclaim the difference between the basic and higher rates of tax by completing an annual self-assessment return form. Please make sure you tick the Gift Aid box as you make an online gift or print, sign and return the Gift Aid declaration below to enable the school to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. Find out more here.
