European Chess Championship 2020

Congratulations to Eugenia, MIV, who was the UK top scorer in the Girls Under 12 at the European Online Youth Team and Individual Chess Championship 2020. The competition brought together more than 700 players from 40 European federations and stretched over three days (18-20 September 2020). The event was played in a 9-round Swiss tournament format in eight different sections: Open U18, U16, U14, U12, Girls U18, U16, U14, and U12. England’s 12 Open Team players scored 57/108, while the eight players from the girls’ team scored an impressive 42/72.
