Senior Scholarship Symposium

Senior Scholarship Symposium

There was a range of fascinating presentations at the annual Senior Scholarship Symposium.

This Tuesday, St Paul’s hosted the annual Senior Scholarship Symposium, held jointly with the boys’ school. Rohini, VIII, one of this year’s winners, tells us more about the event:

The symposium was broadcast from the Old Library to parents, staff and students, with the three winners from both schools and a highly commended candidate presenting. Despite this being the first virtually held symposium, it proved to be a fascinating evening, with a striking range of topics shared. From learning about avalanche defence in Switzerland to a thesis on the success of global populism, we were able to delve into the varied, original and at times unexpected conclusions of these scholarships. Most of all, the passion that went into each project was evident. Finally, we were treated to a wonderful formal dinner in the dining room and I think we all went home feeling inspired by the evening’s talks.
