VIII Joint Conference

The VIII were lucky enough to hear from UCL’S Dr Sandy Schumann at their annual conference. Emily, VIII, explains further:

In the final week of term a joint conference with the boys’ school was hosted over Zoom for members of the VIII, in which Dr Schumann spoke on the topic of political extremism. Her talk was followed by discussion time in groups led by allocated student leaders, which gave all students the opportunity to create and pose questions to Sandy over a second Zoom. The combined experience was both eye-opening and inspiring, and we thank the Head and Deputy Head Girls for organizing it.
