UIV Wind Band

Students are enjoying the return of music clubs within their year group bubbles. An, UIV, has been attending the popular UIV Wind Band:

UIV Wind Band started on a very high-spirited note this year! Unfortunately, last year’s Wind, Brass and Percussion section could not come together fully this year, yet the mood in the Holst Room last Wednesday was a very jovial one as the musicians in our year group bubble got started. Beginning on a piece composed by Dr Hughes, three flutists, a French hornist, a trumpetist, a bassoonist, one trombonist and a clarinetist got to grips with the music and cracked many jokes along the way. The enthusiasm levels were high after so many months apart, leading to a very fun session. I can’t wait to perform our piece at some point in the future!
