Little Shop of Horrors

The Drama Department’s production of Little Shop of Horrors was tremendous, capturing the humour and slapstick of the script, as well as moments of real pathos.

The complex chorus numbers were brilliant and polished, and the principals were perfectly cast; they did justice to iconic characters and gave superb communicative performances, seemingly effortless.

The band always sounded fabulous and never gave away the technical and musical challenges of a split site. Even more impressive was that the ensemble, with the principals and chorus, never dropped, not to mention the perfect balance.

Seeing the students being given this opportunity and providing them with the skills to be part of something that would have been out of reach without the right professional guidance, determination and hard work of all those involved, made the production truly memorable.
