Eco-Discussion Group

May 18, 2020

Students thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural meeting of the SPGS eco-discussion group. Members of the club, which is run by students in the VII, will meet regularly to informally debate and discuss the most controversial aspects of the climate crisis, so as to better equip themselves to be the next generation of climate leaders. This week’s session was a collaboration with Geography Society and Junior Philosophy Society and was entitled: ‘should we limit individual freedoms for the collective environmental good?’ The students managed to get round the difficulties of Zoom conversation to have a very productive and thought-provoking session!
