Eton Fem Soc Online Symposium

Bonnie and Isha, VIII, participated in this thought-provoking online conference:

In the week before half term, we were invited to Eton College’s Zoom symposium on the theme of intersectionality. It was attended by schools from across London, each bringing a unique perspective to the issue. In small break out rooms, we discussed issues such as the link between race and feminism, gender and sexuality, and how it is important for the law to consider all aspects of a person’s identity. We then shared our ideas with the 60 other attendees. It was a great opportunity to gain insights from people from different schools and with different experiences of feminism.
